Yawuum Acaad is a 2022 SS/RHP, 2B, 3B with a 6-1 155 lb. frame from Gainesville, FL who attends Eastside HS. Recorded a 7.21 second 60-yard dash time. Medium frame with athleticism and room to add strength to the build. Primary shortstop with aggressive actions and arm strength recorded up to 76 mph. Made all the plays nicely and shows good feel for the position overall. Secondary right-handed pitcher with a small side step into a high leg lift above the belt. Long arm action with quickness to the arm circle. High three-quarters arm slot and creates some cutting action on the fastball up to 82 mph. Flashed both a slider and a curveball too. Switch hitter with a full swing path and a simple shift into contact. Shows better bat speed from the right side and shows the ability to get extended. Projects for power with added strength. Good student.
