Santino Rao is a 2021 1B/LHP, OF with a 6-2 220 lb. frame from Orlando, FL who attends Bishop Moore HS. Recorded a 7.25 second 60-yard dash time. Good size with present strength and broad shoulders. Primary first baseman who fields out in front with a full arm stroke. Ball comes out cleanly with extra steps through release. Good fluidity to movements with solid athleticism for size and position; throws recorded up to 86 mph. Lefthanded hitter with an open stance, high hand set, and a high back elbow. Upper half dominant swing and lets the ball travel. Leverage to swing with an even base and gets on time nicely. Good torque through separation and gets the barrel head out consistently. Excellent strength through contact and projects for big power. Good student.
