Andrew Lyle is a 2019 OF/RHP, 3B with a 6-1 165 lb. frame from Auburn, AL who attends Lee Scott Academy. Tall and lean frame, projectable with room to fill. Ran a 6.82 second 60 yard dash. Primary outfielder, attacks the ball well getting it to it quickly, takes time getting rid of it with a longer release but has the arm strength to do so, plenty of carry on throws from his 3/4 arm slot, accurate to his target topping out at 84 mph from the outfield. Secondary righthanded pitcher, physical presence on the mound looking to get ground ball contact, long arm action getting it through the arm circle to an extended low 3/4 arm slot, generates some arm side run on the fastball due to arm slot, stiff front side upon landing, low effort delivery. Fastball topped out at 82 mph and was best when located down in the zone, curveball has two plane 10-to-4 shape, feel for both pitches, filled up the zone nicely. Lefthanded hitter, sets up with a wide base, inverted toe tap into stride, pulls off at times but flashes bat speed even through extension, occasional loft, worked the ball well to all fields during round. Outstanding student.
