Xander Ras is a 2023 SS/2B, OF with a 6-1 170 lb. frame from Phoenix, AZ who attends Desert Vista. Medium frame with athletic, projectable build; ran 60 yard dash in 7.12 seconds. Hits from even-based stance, bars slightly into load, easy timer, line drive swing plane, gets barrel out front with bat speed, has strength to swing and postures well, whole-field approach, can drive the ball on a line presently with more in the tank. Primary infielder, shows smooth footwork with balance and athleticism, can make the wide-ranging play up the middle, clean hands out front, solid arm strength as well, clocked up to 81 mph on throws. Named to 2021 Sunshine Southwest Top Prospect List, excellent student.
