Josiah Collado is a 2021 C/1B, 3B with a 5-11 190 lb. frame from Canton, GA who attends Sequoyah. Medium frame with strength present especially in his lower half. Ran a 7.92 second 60 yard dash. Primary catcher, worked out behind the dish with a side saddle stance behind the plate, works through the baseball at times, releases from a full arm action and upright with throws, 2.22 second best pop time in drills. Secondary corner infielder, showed softness to his hands and clean transfers in first base drills. Right-handed hitter, sets up at the plate with a spread out stance and a high hand set, takes a short stride into contact, long swing path with present quickness to his hands, meets the baseball out in front and showcased a strong feel for the barrel, comes off well when squared. Good student.
