Steve Arteaga is a 2022 C/RHP, 3B with a 6-0 195 lb. frame from Murrieta, CA who attends Vista Murrieta. Medium to large frame with an already filling out build, showing strength in the lower half. Ran a 7.63 second sixty yard dash. Primary Catcher, sitting athletically in his stance while proving to be flexible with the lower half. Received the baseball with confidence and then was quick with transfers. Accurate throws around the bag as he recorded a 2.00 second pop time during drills. Right-Handed Hitter, starting narrow with pinched knees and high hands. Works into stride before showing a longer, linear swing path. Found barrels consistently while taking big cuts with every swing. Outstanding Student.
