Victor Jimenez is a 2019 C/1B, 3B with a 6-1 188 lb. frame from Round Rock, TX who attends Round Rock HS. Large frame with good present physicality and still room on the build to add more. Primary catcher with deliberate actions and smooth transfers. Developing arm strength but all the foundational tools of a solid backstop. Righthanded hitter with a high hand set and high back elbow. Fluidity to the swing path and did a good job at getting the barrel extended out in front. Naturally leveraged swing plane and stood from a slightly crouched, open stance. Linear shift into contact with a direct path to contact. Definite tools with interesting power potential in the bat. Good student.
