Nelson Ramos is a 2022 OF/RHP with a 5-10 180 lb. frame from St. Petersburg, FL who attends Northeast. Medium build with some present strength for his age, looks bigger than listed. Right handed hitter, hits from a tall straight stance with a low hand load, loads hands close to his body and could get more separation in his swing, swings hard and creates some bat speed, has lift in his swing at times and is looking to drive the ball, drove the ball hard to the pull side in the game, has the tools and strength to continue to improve offensively. 7.42 runner, has young actions and fundamentals in the outfield, tends to field the ball deep to his body, very open front side throwing costs him carry. Also pitched, works from a simple delivery with good direction to the plate, fastball has running life, curveball was his best pitch with tight downer spin and feel for the zone.
