Cole Whitehouse is a 2019 C/3B with a 6-0 170 lb. frame from Newton, MA who attends Newton North. Medium frame with athletic, very projectable present build. Ran 60 yard dash in 7.38 seconds. Smaller leg lift trigger when hitting, foot down early, tends to step out in stride with front foot, shows hand quickness through zone on line drive swing plane. Middle field approach, occasional shift into contact, flashes good strength at contact when squared up. Worked out behind the plate, receives well and shows good explosion out of crouch, good footwork throughout, shows very good accuracy to 2nd base with quality arm strength, clocked up to 77 mph. Very good student.
