Koy Frier is a 2027 SS/RHP with a 5-11 167 lb. frame from Wellborn, FL who attends Suwannee. Athletic build with a broad shoulders and a high waste. Ran a 7.07 in the sixty yard dash. Primary short stop, fields the ball with two hands out front, comfortable to the backhand, clean transfer with throws that reached 81 mph in drills. Also worked out in the outfield with good footwork and throws up to 84 mph. Also pitched, stretch only delivery with easy actions, compact arm action to a low effort release, pitched to contact and filled up the strike zone. Right handed hitter, spread stance with a small stride into contact, strong wrists to manipulate the barrel, turns the barrel over with intent, showed the ability to backspin the baseball to the pull side. Great student.
