2021 PG Underclass All-American Games
Isaiah Lane is a 2023 SS with a 6-1 165 lb. frame from Chula Vista, CA who attends Eastlake. Taller and slender frame with a high waist and easy room to add strength. A primary infielder, advanced foot work taking good angles and rounding the ball with fluidity. Excellent timing with the feet and glove and the hands work extremely well. A right-handed hitter, starts narrow and in line with a small stride, floats the load deep and turns the barrel hard. Looks to really accelerate the hands out to the ball. Pretty easy barrel speed through the zone with some length through contact, middle of the field approach. Excellent student.
