Trey Powers is a 2021 C/1B, 3B with a 5-10 180 lb. frame from Ponte Vedra Beach, FL who attends Ponte Vedra HS. Recorded a 7.53 second 60-yard dash time. Physical frame with lots of well-proportioned strength throughout. Primary catcher with accurate throws recorded up to 75 mph with nice carry out of the hand. Clean footwork and is aggressive to the ball. Compact arm stroke and releases the ball on time. Arm strength also plays nicely from his secondary position of the infield. Righthanded hitter with a wide base, high hand set, and a high back elbow. Inside hand path to contact with a full, extended swing path. All fields approach and best contact came to the opposite field. Good student.
