Grayson McKelvey is a 2025 RHP/UT with a 6-2 190 lb. frame from Aledo, TX who attends Southwest Christian. Physical off the bump with athleticism. Primary right handed pitcher who throws from a high 3/4 slot. Uses a high leg raise and pauses at the top before exploding downhill. Works in line with the plate and stays balanced throughout the process. Loose arm action coming half circle. Arm is quick with heavy run on the fastball. Lat riding life through the zone. Picked up velocity when elevated. Sequenced in a tight slider with late biting tilting action. Would like to see him bury the slider more and keep it down and away. Also flashed a curve with 10-4 shape. Pounded the inner half of the plate hard with his fastball causing late swings and jam shots. Impressive and projectable arm. Good student. Named to the 2023 South Top Prospects Games Top Prospect List.
