Caleb Bennett is a 2023 SS/RHP, 2B with a 6-0 155 lb. frame from Martinez, GA who attends Evans HS. Recorded a 7.00 second 60-yard dash time. Lean, athletic build with a lot of room to add strength and physicality. Primary shortstop with deliberate actions and an over the top arm slot. Clean arm stroke and works through the ball well, getting into his footwork and lower half. Secondary righthanded pitcher who graded out best at the position. Long and loose arm with pretty impressive arm speed at present. Cross body landing leg and the fastball peaked at 80 mph with good arm side run. Low three-quarters arm slot with a short, biting slider that he mixes in. Righthanded hitter with a high hand set, high back elbow, and inside path to contact. Shifts with his lower half well and shows some strength when squared. Line drive approach with a contact oriented swing at present.
