Jose Puig is a 2023 SS/2B, 3B, MIF, IF with a 5-9 175 lb. frame from Doral, FL who attends Trinity Christian Academy. Recorded a 7.21 second 60-yard dash time. Primary shortstop with a medium frame and athletic build. Solid footwork working around the ball and through it with clean gather to exchange. Glove tap to high 3/4 arm slot on throws across with inline momentum at 84 mph. Right-handed hitter with an even base and narrow stance in the box. Knee-to-knee lift trigger with long er stride to extension. Middle field approach with fluid swing through the zone and ability to use the whole field when timing is in sync. Good student.
