Ryan DePew is a 2021 RHP/3B with a 6-0 175 lb. frame from Foxfield, CO who attends Grandview. Medium athletic build with broad shoulders and room to get stronger. High 3/4's to over the top arm slot, lands closed with his front side, short stride out front with occasional recoil, gets downhill well, some effort on release. Fastball topped out at 90 mph early, tends to lose velocity from the stretch, fastball is mostly straight. Primary fastball pitcher but showed quality with his curveball, big 11/5 break on it and lands it well, can throw this pitch more often. Good student.
