Justin Osborne is a 2027 RHP/1B with a 6-1 175 lb. frame from Jacksonville, FL who attends The Bolles. Large, square shouldered frame with present strength and additional room to fill throughout. Ran an 8.14 60-yard dash. Primary right-handed pitcher, leg lift up past belt at start of delivery, shorter stride coming down but lands on line, clean arm stroke through the back getting to a high three-quarters release point. Low effort release, fastball topped out at 82 mph and creates sinking life down in the zone. Running life to the fastball, changeup plays off of it well with fading life and sells it well up to 73 mph, maintains arm speed. Mixed a curveball up to 71 mph and landed it for strikes consistently with shape each time; threw all three pitches for strikes. Accurate throws across the diamond from both the infield and first base; fields cleanly in the dirt, hands play out front and repeats. Moves around the first base bag well with footwork, strong throws. Right-handed hitter, begins wtih an even base and a high hand set and back elbow at the plate; utilizes a leg lift trigger for timing in the box. Gets the front foot down on time, shows ability to drive the ball to the pull side with some present feel for the barrel, possesses some bat speed with gap to gap contact, upper body dominant swing. Excellent student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
