Christian Burney is a 2025 C/2B, 3B, OF with a 5-6 180 lb. frame from St Petersburg, FL who attends St. Petersburg Catholic HS. Recorded an 8.00 second 60-yard dash time. Stronger build with some strength well-proportioned throughout. Primary catcher with a quick transfer and one-hop accuracy. Gets the throws out of the hand well with some athleticism out of the crouch. Longer arm stroke and popped a best time of 2.19 seconds. Right-handed hitter with a high hand set, high back elbow, and a small stride forward. Uphill path with some intent to the stroke. Has some strength that will show pull side power when squared. Good student.
