Hudson Bailey is a 2026 SS/RHP with a 5-9 140 lb. frame from Parkville, MO who attends St. Pius X. Average compact build. Ran a 7.84 60-yard dash. Primary shortstop with a quicker first step and fundamental footwork. Nice job of working through the baseball and carrying some momentum into throws, moved laterally and made plays to both sides, will stab some with the glove, and makes throws solid accurate throws across. At the plate hit from a balanced and slightly narrow stance. Toe tap timing, level bat path through the zone with a high finish and extension through the baseball. Has some ability to handle the barrel and use the whole field. On the mound started from a tall and balanced stance, slower but in control mechanics to a balance position, not a lot of use of the lower half yet, throws from a low three-quarter arm slot with a fastball that has some carry through the zone and feel for a curveball. Great student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
