Gavin Dodds is a 2022 LHP/ with a 6-0 180 lb. frame from Niceville, FL who attends Niceville Senior. Has a good frame with present strength and plenty of room to add even more. He is a primary pitcher that utilizes a smooth knee to belt leg lift and a long, circular arm action with some speed. He does a nice job staying in line with the plate and driving down the mound, delivering from a low 3/4 arm slot. His fastball is firm, sitting in the low-80's and touching 83 mph at times with some run. His curveball sits at 71 mph and has sharp 1-7 shape. He also features a change up that he utilizes as a change of pace pitch to keep hitters off balance. Good student.
