Tye Phoenix is a 2023 RHP/1B, MIF, IF, OF with a 6-3 170 lb. frame from Naples, FL who attends St. John Neumann HS. Recorded a 7.63 second 60-yard dash time. Long and lean build with lots of room to add strength. Primary right-handed pitcher with a big rocker into a leg lift above the belt. Online, clean arm stroke with a high three-quarters arm slot. Shorter stride down the mound and the fastball topped out at 85 mph. Fastball has some short life to it and showed feel for a 12/6 breaking ball. Quick arm with a projectable frame and substantial velocity upside. Arm strength plays from secondary positions of outfield and first base. Right-handed hitter with a narrow base and big leg lift trigger moving forward. High hand set with a high back elbow. Full swing path with lift out in front. Has strength and generates leverage to the pull side. Tremendous student. Named to the NUC East TP List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
