Jordan Bergado is a 2007 OF/P from Webster Christian High School in Rochester, NY, with a 5'11'', 178 lb. frame. He has good athleticism and his speed was affected by an injury, but he looks like he can run. Defensively he throws with an over the top release from the outfield with good accuracy and online carry. Bergado has arm strength at 79 mph, and he projects to throw even harder in the future. He is a right handed hitter who hits from a wide base with a crouched stance. Bergado is a very patient hitter with good knowledge of the strike zone. When he does get a pitch he likes, he has solid bat speed and makes consistent line drive contact to the middle of the field. There is also strength in his swing and Bergado has projectable power. On the mound he has good mechanics from a 3/4 arm slot. His fastball topped out at 73 mph, and he mixed in a 60 mph breaking ball with flat break. Bergado throws strikes and gets outs with his breaking ball.
