Baylor Quarles is a 2025 2B/RHP, 3B, MIF, OF with a 5-6 145 lb. frame from Seguin, TX who attends Navarro. Ran a 7.97 second sixty. Primary second baseman with a smaller athletic build. Flips the glove down on the infield with later glove presentation as the footwork is still developing to work through the ball and carry the momentum into the throws. Comes and gets the ball well in the outfield transffering quickly to the throw and getting rid of the ball on time to make accurate throws. Starts at a 45 degree on the mound with a side step into a belt high leg lift staying stacked over the back side with a short arm action. Fastball sat 67-71 mph as he runs through the landing staying on line to the plate. Also mixed in a young breaking ball in the lower 60's. Right-handed hitter, starts narrow with a slight open stance using a floating leg lift to get back to even. Bat path works direct to the ball with a steep entry into the hitting zone showing developing bat speed with his best contact to the middle. Excellent student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
