Collin Snyder is a 2023 C/RHP/1B with a 6-2 205 lb. frame from Spotsylvania, VA who attends Riverbend. Plus strong athletic build, stands out physically on the field. 7.19 runner in the sixty. Has very athletic actions behind the plate defensively, lower half is quick and comes out of his crouch explosively, big-time arm strength from a lower slot, throws tend to tail but get to the base in a hurry, could really develop as a defensive catcher with his tools given more coaching and fundamentals. Right handed hitter, hits from a hanging leg lift load from a tall stance, wraps his barrel low, creates plenty of bat speed and the ball jumps on contact when he's timed up, has the strength to shorten and simplify his load for more consistency. Also pitched, full hands over head delivery with a pause at the top, some energy down the mound into his release. Fastball topped out at 85 mph with good running life at times, two/four-seam fastball velocity and action, also threw both a curveball and hard slider. Had a quick inning of strikes. High ceiling potential talent. Good student. Named to the Fall Atlantic Coast Showcase Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
