Wells Grisham is a 2026 LHP/1B with a 6-2 205 lb. frame from Cleveland, TN who attends Baylor. Taller medium build. Ran an 8.77 60-yard dash. Primary left-handed pitcher with a three pitch mix out of a low three-quarter arm slot. Fastball topped out at 79 and was located well to both sides of the plate with some arm side sink. Curve is a big bending breaking ball that he throws as a back door breaking ball to right handed hitters and as a sharper biting pitch to left handed hitters. Change-up gives him a third pitch that showed tumbling action down in the zone. Intriguing combination of stuff and pitchability from the left side. Also worked out at first base where he showed routine play making ability and an accurate throwing arm. Hit from an open stance at the plate with a coiled load, uphill bat path and developing feel for the barrel. Great student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
