Dylan Kling is a 2022 RHP/OF with a 6-0 190 lb. frame from Lake Mary, FL who attends Bishop Moore. Ran a 7.11 second 60 yard dash. A primary righthanded pitcher with room to fill in the frame. On the mound he starts with a side step from the wind up into a belt high leg lift, does a nice job keeping his weight over the rubber at the balance point, showed a short arm action to a higher three-quarters arm slot. He displayed a three pitch mix with a fastball in the 78-82 mph range, in the second inning he showed good extension out front on the slider with sweeping action through the zone in the low 70's. The third offering, a changeup showed good arm speed with fading action to the arm side and played well off the fastball. As a secondary outfielder he displayed a choppy controlled approach to the ball, his arm action was long and worked to a high release point with good carry on the throws. At the plate, his righthanded swing starts with a wide base and big leg lift, showed the ability to manipulate the barrel path to get the barrel to the ball with some line drives in his round. Good student.
