Zack Webber is a 2024 OF/RHP with a 6-1 160 lb. frame from South Hamilton, MA who attends Hamilton-Wenham. Large, square shouldered frame with long limbs and a lean, projectable build, has room to grow throughout moving forward. Ran a 7.75 60-yard dash. Primary outfielder, fields the ball out front, stays back on the ball and can incorporate footwork into working through the ball, compact arm action in the back, occasionally gets under the ball at release, carry on throws will continue to develop. Also pitched, side step moving into delivery, leg lift up past belt, gets tall on backside, full arm action through the back working to a higher three-quarters release point. Fastball topped out at 73 mph, mixed in both a breaking ball with 12-6 shape and a changeup, inconsistent release on curveball at times but nice depth when on top. Righthanded hitter, begins with an even stance and a high hand set and back elbow at the plate; utilizes a leg lift trigger for timing at the plate. Upper body dominant swing, occasionally gets mistimed with lower half, does a nice job of staying short to the ball with swing path. Uses hands well in swing, can work to all fields, shows carry off the barrel when working on a linear plane.
