2023 Class of 2026 All-American Games
Dylan Messina is a 2026 SS/3B with a 5-10 165 lb. frame from Cortez, FL who attends IMG Academy. Compact athletic build with good present strength. Primary middle infielder on defense, moves very aggressively to the ball and is best charging the ball, has solid arm strength, was good at third base in addition to shortstop in the games. Has run 7.06 in the sixty at PG events this summer. Switch-hitter at the plate, has the same stance from both sides of the plate, straight stance with a full rotational swing, turns hard and tight, has strength to his hands especially from the left side, right handed swing tends to be shorter and less leveraged. Knows how to play the game and performed with energy, has ball player tendencies that coaches will appreciate in the future. Excellent student. Named to the Class of 2026 All-American Games Top Prospect List.
