Chase Hartman is a 2026 C/RHP with a 5-9 135 lb. frame from St. Louis, MO who attends St. Louis University HS. Slender young build with lots of time and room to get stronger. 7.50 runner in the sixty. Primary catcher on defense, is light on his feet and moves well in his lower half, compact arm action, still developing in his exchange and footwork. Also played the infield. Right handed hitter, gets coiled to start his swing, gains ground into contact, big and aggressive swing with some length and lift, approach can play with additional strength and physical maturity. Also pitched, showed good arm strength from a low 3/4's whippy arm slot, gets almost side arm at times, repeats his mechanics well. Fastball topped out at 77 mph and was thrown for strikes, showed quality to both a sweeping breaking ball and fading change up, was interesting on the mound for his age and delivery. Athlete who should keep improving in all areas.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
