Jayden Duplantier is a 2022 SS/MIF with a 6-0 169 lb. frame from Houston, TX who attends Summer Creek. Medium to large build with plenty of room to fill out as he continues to develop. Primary infielder, glove works well out in front, shows good fluidity to and through the baseball. Looks to read hops, clean and quick transition, gets rid of the ball right away with no wasted movement. Arm strength across the diamond is good and will continue to develop. At the plate, uses a narrow and upright stance with a low hanging leg lift trigger. Not much of a linear weight shift in the box, hands travel a large distance back into his load. Middle of the field approach, excellent student in the classroom as well.
