2021 Summer Main Event Showcase (Tues/Wed)
Trevor Booton is a 2023 RHP with a 6-4 185 lb. frame from Lagrange, GA who attends Lagrange. Nice young pitcher's build with plenty of physical projection. Easy low effort delivery with a compact high 3/4's arm action, good extension out front on release. Fastball worked consistently in the mid-80's and topped out at 87 mph, mostly straight but thrown for strikes with some idea on spotting the ball. His slider was his best pitch and he will throw it for strikes and throw it early in counts, gets tighter spin and sharper bite the harder he throws it and showed almost curveball shape and depth at times. Works quickly and is all business on the mound. Excellent student. Named to the Summer Main Event Showcase Top Prospect List.
