Jack Steel is a 2022 RHP/1B with a 6-3 170 lb. frame from Atlanta, GA who attends The Lovett School. Large frame with an athletic build and great physical projection. Ran a 7.10 second 60-yard dash. Primary right-handed pitcher, works solely from the stretch and shows good athleticism to his delivery with present arm talent. Has a long and loose arm stroke with excellent arm speed as he gets downhill with the fastball and shows great feel for a vertical breaking ball with good bite that he tunnels well. Also worked out at first base, works under control to the ball, fields with two hands out front and shows ease to turns with a long arm action on strong throws across. Right-handed hitter, sets up wide with high hands; shows good bat speed with length through the zone generating solid contact on a line to the pull side. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
