Connor Sikora is a 2019 RHP/ with a 5-7 155 lb. frame from Easton, PA who attends Easton Area. Compact frame with a lean, athletic build. Frame projects to support additional size with strength. Primary right handed pitcher with a simple rock step to medium leg lift delivery. Stays balanced at gather and works to the plate with a shorter stride. Lands at a closed front side position creating cross fire from a high three-quarters to near over top arm slot. Fastball produced solid downward angle through the zone with occasional running action to arm side in the low to mid 70's, topped at 75 miles per hour. Curveball had 12/6 shape with good spin and solid depth. Flashed good feel for curveball offering with the ability to located for strikes consistently. Repeated mechanics and arm slot throughout each inning off work allowing for good command to each edge of the plate. Also worked out defensively from behind the plate utilizing a low, slightly side set stance while receiving. Gains ground towards the bag with smooth, sound footwork. Clean exchanges and released from a compact arm slot producing some on line carry to the bag, best workout pop time of 2.19. Left handed hitter with an upright, open stance and simple front side trigger. Created some shift into contact with linear lower half actions. Direct path with a naturally lifted barrel plane through extension. Swung with intent and looked to work the baseball to the middle of the field. Showed developing feel for the barrel but produced some jump off the barrel when on time and squared. Excellent student.
