Gunner Sutton is a 2025 SS/RHP, 2B with a 6-3 185 lb. frame from Hillsboro, MO who attends Hillsboro. Recorded a 8.04 second sixty yard dash time. High-waisted with a taller frame and lean build with long levers. Primary shortstop, with some range. Funnels up the body with and showed some ability to change the slot. Also threw an inning on the mound. The right-handed pitcher works from a leg lift up just above the belt with a long through the back arm action with a long and loose whippy high three- quarter arm slot. The fastball (2115 RPM) has some arm-side run to it. Also showed a good curveball (2251 RPM) with 12-6 shape and hammer depth to it and good feel to spin. Filled the zone early mixing the two-pitches. Right-handed hitter, starts from a narrow upright stance with open feet and high hands and a high back elbow, utilizes an inward toe-tap. Direct with the hands with some bat speed. Rotational swing with good hands that can get in to it. Solid line drives to the pull-side. Intriguing player with good upside. Great student.
