Daniel Herrera is a 2024 MIF/C/3B with a 5-8 160 lb. frame from Lakeland, FL who attends Lakeland Christian. Compact build with good present strength. Right handed hitter, hits from a balanced stance with a short toe tap stride into contact, upper body dominant swing, has fast and strong hands that develop nice bat speed, showed an accurate barrel and made consistent hard pull contact in the games, has confidence at the plate. 7.55 runner in the sixty. Second base tools on defense, has good fundamental footwork and soft hands at the ball, can throw from lower slots, ball comes out of his hand clean and makes accurate throws. Solid all around player who performs. Good student.
