2022 National Underclass South Showcase
Alexander Rodriguez is a 2025 SS/OF with a 5-8 135 lb. frame from Spring, TX who attends Klein Oak. Small lean frame. In the infield, he preps well into a quick fist step, ranges well in either direction with a glove that funnels effectively. The softness in the hands shows, the arm is still developing but delivered accurately across the diamond. In the outfield, works methodically with choppy steps to and through the baseball. Quick release with medium arm stroke. Throws lacked true carry that will come with maturation. At the plate, he sets up with wide base working into a deep load that coils the backside nicely. Swings the bat with intent, shows whippiness and length post impact. Feel to match plane. The strength hasn't come fully as of yet but has the making of a solid player in the future. 7.11 60-yard. Outstanding student.
