Alex Bestermann is a 2022 1B/RHP, 3B with a 6-1 165 lb. frame from Suwanee, GA who attends Peachtree Ridge. Tall and slender frame with room to fill throughout. Ran a 7.68 second 60 yard dash. Primary first baseman, worked out at the position moving in on the baseball showing quickness to his feet, accurate arm with some strength behind throws, agile and shows a feel for the corner infield. Secondary right-handed pitcher, pitches from a stretch only delivery, takes his arm back to a long arm action up to a high ¾ arm slot, fastball is straight up to 76 mph, mixes in a 12-6 curveball with developing spin, best when getting to the bottom of the zone. Right-handed hitter, spread out stance, fires hips into contact, creates a downhill swing plane with natural backspin at impact, middle of the field approach and a feel for the barrel. Great student.
