2023 Kansas City Indoor Showcase
Owen Shaw is a 2024 MIF/RHP, OF with a 5-9 160 lb. frame from Overland Park, KS who attends Blue Valley Southwest. Recorded a 7.75 sixty yard dash time. Thin frame with plenty of room to fill. Primary middle infielder with clean fundamentals and made all the plays cleanly. Developing lateral range and arm strength, works hard and gets into good fielding positions. Longer arm action from a more over-the-top arm slot. Projects more as a second baseman. Right-handed hitter, starts from an even base and square stance, utilizes a leg lift trigger. Showed some feel for the barrel with an uphill swing path. Uses all fields with a contact-oriented approach. Intriguing player with good upside as frame fills. Great student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
