Ryan Martin is a 2022 C/OF with a 5-9 185 lb. frame from Marietta, GA who attends Lassiter. Medium and strong frame with present strength already well-proportioned throughout. Ran a 7.10 second 60 yard dash. Primary catcher, worked out behind the plate gaining plenty of ground into his throws, high set position with a side saddle start, uses his legs well with his throw downs and shows solid catch-and-throw potential, topped out at 76 mph from behind the plate, compact arm with accuracy and carry to the bag, 1.96 second best pop time in drills. Right-handed hitter, narrow and slightly open stance in the box, hands set low, ball comes off well when squared, swings with intent and generates good bat speed, has a feel for the barrel and a long finish, near the top of the event in exit velocity with a 90 mph mark. Great student. Named to 2020 Fall Southeast Showcase Top Prospect List.
