Trenton Lyons is a 2023 C/3B/SS with a 6-3 176 lb. frame from Memphis, TN who attends Christian Brothers. Long and lean athletic build with plenty of room to get stronger. Ran a 6.58 in the sixty yard dash. A primary catcher, good lower half movement and replaces the feet with good direction and quickness. solid transfer skills with excellent feel for timing and good accuracy on the throws. High end ceiling. Also worked on the infield showing comfort to the backhand and the ability to change arm angles on the run. A switch-hitter, LH-starts wider with the base and in line. Rhythm to the hands with a full loose swing through the zone and looks to lift. RH-compact with the turn with good direction when releasing the hands and solid bat speed to help the future power potential. Excellent profile and long term projection. Very good student.
