Ryan Mooney is a 2023 OF/RHP with a 6-4 170 lb. frame from Rochester Hills, MI who attends Orchard Lake St. Marys Prep. Recorded a 6.37 60-yard dash. Primary outfielder with an athletic, long, and slender build. Moved to the ball in the outfield with quick and bouncy feet. Took efficient angles to the ball and used a clean, medium length arm action, showing developing arm strength. Right-handed hitter and starts with a medium base, even feet, and a low back elbow. Stays very short to the ball and stays on an inside bat path. Went to the opposite field with comfort and sent line drives to all fields. Simple lower-half and the frame projects physically. Tremendous student. Verbal commitment to Notre Dame.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
