Anthony Herbert is a 2025 LHP/1B with a 5-10 145 lb. frame from Peabody, MA who attends Bishop Fenwick. Slender young athletic build with lots of time and room to get stronger. Works from the stretch from the far first base side of the rubber, gets his hips turned well in his delivery, compact 3/4's arm action, tends to open his front side early and run off to the third base side on release. Fastball worked up to 73 mph, mostly straight with occasional cutting action, fastball command will improve with better direction to the plate through release. Best curveballs were at the highest velocities, tends to slow his arm coming into release. Left handed hitter, has a short hands driven swing and good barrel control, works to all fields, raw bat speed will continue to improve with additional strength. 7.74 runner in the sixty. Plays first base when not on the mound.
