TayShaun Walton is a 2023 OF/RHP with a 6-3 220 lb. frame from Norfolk, VA who attends Maury. Extra-large, athletic frame with broad shoulders and advanced physical strength proportioned well throughout frame. Ran a 6.75 60-yard dash. Primary outfielder, moves well on feet, fields the ball out front shows, shows good direction moving through the ball, ball comes out of hand well to intended target. Right-handed hitter, begins with a high hand set at the plate, does a nice job of staying short to the ball and generates big jump off of the barrel at point of contact. Made adjustments mid at-bat in live action and didn't expand the zone, ball caries off the barrel well to the middle of the field, will continue to unlock additional strength with separation in swing, loud contact when squared.
