Andy Neal is a 2023 C/RHP/3B with a 5-9 195 lb. frame from Grapevine, TX who attends Faith Christian. Ran a 7.72 second sixty-yard dash. Primary catcher with a medium frame and physical build, recorded a 2.05 second pop time. Starts from a low and even stance, getting tall and gaining limited ground to second base through the exchange. Has a longer arm stroke, making accurate throws to second base at 71 miles per hour. Secondary third baseman that has slower developing footwork in the infield. Has clean glove actions, especially to the backhand, and has developing arm strength with accurate throws across the diamond at 74 miles per hour. Has a square stance at the plate, with a double tap load and present bat speed. Stays balanced throughout the swing, and shows the ability to get the hands extended and create some loud contact to the pull side. Flashes strength in the swing that will continue to develop as the frame matures physically, recording an already impressive 88 miles per hour exit velocity for the age. Secondary right-handed pitcher with that works exclusively from the stretch. Has a leg lift that reaches slightly above the belt, landing on line down the mound while using drop and drive actions down the mound. Has a short and compact arm stroke, coming through from a high three-quarter slot. Creates some good downward plane to the fastball at 73-to-75 miles per hour.
