2022 Sunshine Texas Showcase
Kaleb Higgs is a 2023 SS/OF with a 6-1 175 lb. frame from Justin, TX who attends Northwest. Long and athletic frame that projects well. Ran a 6.86 second 60-yard dash. Primary shortstop, loose and athletic actions on the dirt, plays with good energy and overall feel, good intent to his actions and works to get rid of it quick, has the arm strength for the left side and projects a ton in terms of overall feel for the position. Athletic enough for the outfield as well, some quickness as a whole, arm strength plays well. Righthanded hitter, balanced setup with an open start, swings it hard and gets in sync well, good quickness to the hands and swing as a whole, can create longer carried contact as he leverages more but good foundation of bat speed. Took very good swings in game action, refined approach and able to adjust well and create strong impact. Excellent student. Named to 2022 Sunshine Texas Showcase Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
