Matthew Haber is a 2025 OF/LHP, 1B with a 5-7 130 lb. frame from Marietta, GA who attends Walton. Recorded a 7.25 second sixty yard dash time. Smaller frame with a lean and slender build, young look with plenty of physical development still to come. Primary outfielder with passive actions, waits back on the ball and fields it cleanly, has some softness to the hands. Utilizes a long arm stroke and comes from a high three-quarters slot, made accurate throws consistently. Secondary left-handed pitcher with average arm speed, drives hard down the mound and has solid overall body control. Handles himself well on the mound, fastball shows short sink to it, did not throw an off speed pitch in this look. Left-handed hitter with a narrow base and open stance, utilizes a hover leg lift trigger. Tight hands through the zone, tends to pull off/cut himself off rather than reach extension, lets the front side go early. Drives the hips hard in the swing, shows a good bat path and worked both gaps. Has good hand-eye coordination, key to his development will be getting bigger and stronger. Great chance to improve moving forward.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
