Jason Janesko is a 2023 C/OF with a 6-1 195 lb. frame from Moosic, PA who attends IMG Academy. Recorded a 6.70 second 60-yard dash time. Physical frame with good strength proportioned throughout. Primary catcher with big ground gained and solid game actions. Longer release with an over the top slot. Throws up to 80 mph with a best pop time of 1.95 seconds. Arm strength plays from secondary position of outfield with throws up to 89 mph. Right-handed hitter with a high hand set, high back elbow, and an open stance. Downhill swing plane and shows some strength and twitch in his wrists. Has solid bat speed with power projection evident. Tremendous student. Verbal commitment to East Carolina.
