Tyler Dunn is a 2025 SS/RHP, 2B, 3B, OF with a 5-10 165 lb. frame from Ellenwood, GA who attends Woodland. Recorded a 7.12 second 60-yard dash time. Primary shortstop with a medium frame and athletic build. Footwork direct to the ball with clean two-hand gather to exchange out front. Some effort to the actions moving around with throws across the diamond 78 mph. Showed the ability to drop his arm slot on the move with accurate throws. Secondary right-handed pitcher with a quick leg lift to belt from the stretch starting point. Short arm stroke getting down the slope with fastball up to 80 mph (1866 RPM) and big slow curveball in the mid-60s (1398 RPM). Velocity differential between the fastball and curveball got some swings and misses during games. Can get a little quick with his tempo with runners on base that affected his release point but when under control could execute both pitches. Right-handed hitter with a wide base and high-hands stance in the box. Short knee-lift trigger with hands separating into high back elbow slot. Rotational bat path working middle to pull side with developing strength at impact. Swing mechanics work with increased impact at he matures into his frame. Excellent student.
