Rhys Polcari is a 2024 RHP/3B with a 6-0 215 lb. frame from Mattspoisett, MA who attends Buckingham Browne Nichols. Recorded a 8.76 second sixty-yard dash time. Strong, durable frame with some present strength to it. Primary right-handed pitcher that worked exclusively from the stretch in this look. Incorporates drop and drive lower half mechanics down the slope, shorter stride out to foot strike and works into a compact over-the-top arm slot. Deliberate paced delivery with subtle movements into balance. Fastball worked in the upper-60s for most of his outing and topped out at 70 mph. Proficient strike thrower that pitches to contact, mixed in a slower 12-6 breaking ball to disrupt hitters timing and generated tons of ground ball outs. Secondary third baseman with deliberate footwork and actions throughout the fielding process. Incorporates a clean funnel out in front, elongated exchange and fairly accurate throws across the diamond. Recorded arm strength up to 70 mph during drills. Right-handed hitter that hits from a narrow, upright stance with a flat hand set, high back elbow and leg lift trigger. Incorporates rotational lower half mechanics and minimal weight shift into contact, displayed developing bat-to-ball skills and feel for the barrel. Middle-to-opposite field approach due to length in his swing, will continue to improve with proper swing adjustments and additional strength. Excellent Student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
