Brendan Owens is a 2024 RHP/SS with a 5-8 155 lb. frame from Methuen, MA who attends Lowell Catholic. Owens works from a medium projectable build with additional room to fill out and add strength in the future. As a primary RHP, he showcased a compact delivery and 3/4 slot with arm speed evident ultimately topping out at 81 mph. Owens pounded the inside part of the dish to righties with feel for spin on the breaker that worked 11-5 at 2411 rpm. From the IF, he displayed quick footwork with controlled mechanics to produce accurate throws across the diamond. At the plate, the righty started from a wider even base with a high hand set flashing moments of pull side power. As the stroke becomes more consistent, expect the contact tool to match the potential power. Ran a 7.83 sixty yard dash.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
